To our friends in the Chinese martial arts community:

The Journal of Chinese Martial Arts – formerly the Wu Gong Journal – publishes the best of the classic and contemporary for an international audience of martial arts teachers, practitioners, scholars, students, and enthusiasts. All material is peer-reviewed to maintain the highest standards of scholarship and readability.

We offer articles based on original substantive research on various aspects of martial arts history and traditions, training principles and techniques, and weaponry; informal wide-ranging interviews with recognized masters and other personalities; and reviews of significant books and multimedia materials; rare and original photos; significant documentation; and Chinese characters and a Pinyin glossary. A searchable data base is provided to help you access topics of interest.
